ABOUT

Rob is a composer and musician from Sheffield and based in Leeds.

He's passionate about creating music that provokes strong emotional impressions on listeners. Currently specialising in fantasy-style orchestral tracks as well as minimalist organic textures.

Since graduating from Leeds Conservatoire in 2024 with a degree in Film Music Composition, he has devoted his time to developing his orchestral-writing skills, building a compositional palette and nurturing a creative network in Yorkshire.

Outside of music he is a photographer and filmmaker - you can find his work on Instagram @robnowellphotos.

His passions also lie in live event production and scenic carpentry across Leeds theatres.
